Let’s dive into just the facts. What can we do to help and how much does it cost to hire a private investigator on a child custody case?

How does a private investigator help during a child custody or support matter?

WHAT MOST PARENTS WANT

Most parents want to work with the other parent in an amenable fashion in order to allow their children to prosper from love and material needs. But, what happens when the other parent is not supporting their child, not spending time with the child and or is lying about wages, employment, time with the child, etc.?

By the way, if you're a single parent, I applaud you for doing all you can to see your child get what they deserve. Thank you for being a parent who cares to go to the ends of the earth to help your child have a good life.

WHAT WE ARE NOT

We are not lawyers. Attorneys can guide the direction of your case if they have sufficient information that only a private investigator may be able to provide. If a lawyer has very little to work off of, your case will have little to show. If there is any doubt that you can legally and ethically cast in order to get better leverage during a child custody dispute, then you should use it.

WHAT WE CAN DO TO HELP

We can aid you and your legal professional get evidence. Are they working? We can find out. Do they have money in the bank? We will find how much. Are they spending time with the child? We will place them under surveillance.

Here are a few things we can do to aid your child custody and child support matter:

  • We find assets in the other parents name.

  • We find where they work.

  • We find documentation of earnings.

  • We watch them to be sure they are abiding by the court terms.

  • We check if they are cohabitating against court orders.

  • We see if they are treating your child well.

  • We document their living situation to ensure the welfare of the child.

HOW MUCH DOES A CHILD CUSTODY INVESTIGATION COST?

All child custody case investigations and child support investigations start at $950. How much it will end up costing will be based on your particular case details and how in-depth it needs to be. For example, some clients come to us with just needing a days worth of surveillance, and that cost $950. Some clients come to us wanting to conduct and asset investigation, and that starts at $950, but can go up from there depending on how far they want us to dig.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO

You should carefully consider the other parent. Does what they claim to you, to your lawyer or to the court really add up? Do they say one thing about the time with the child and possibly do another—violating the courts order? Is it possible that a private investigator can document abusive or neglectful situations?

If any of these questions ring true, or if you have a couple of your own, you should contact us! Call us to discuss your family child custody/support matter at (888) 867-6788 or message us.
